Illinois Marijuana Qualifications

Currently, there are no guidelines for patients with a medical condition to qualify for the use of cannabis within the state of Illinois.  A marijuana recommendation from a licensed marijuana doctor can be used for confirmation that a patient is in fact using cannabis for a medical condition. Illinois legislation for a medical marijuana program is still pending and in its infancy.

Medical Conditions that could qualify for use of medical marijuana in the state of Illinois. 

AIDS, anorexia, arthritis, cachexia, cancer, chronic pain, glaucoma, migraine, persistent muscle spasms, including spasms associated with multiple sclerosis, seizures, including seizures associated with epilepsy, severe nausea; Other chronic or persistent medical symptoms.
